The Department of Information Technology has been established as the first department under the Faculty of Computing. The department is offering unique undergraduate programs which have developed to sharpen the knowledge and skills of the students in the areas of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Cyber Security and Data Analytics. The department is instrumental with state-of-the-art Computer Labs with latest specifications and applications, Classrooms and a dedicated lecture panel. Apart from the classroom education the department is encouraging active participation of students for wide variety of activities like group projects, seminars, workshops in collaborations with industry partners, conferences and symposiums, hackathons and competitions and various other social and cultural events and activities.
